The Email Delivery Hub allows you to resend client emails and review delivery results. Permissions control who can view the hub and resend emails.
Resending Emails To All Recipients
You can resend an email to every original recipient directly from the email table.
Locate the email in the Email Delivery Hub, then click Resend on the parent row.
This sends the email again to all recipients included in the original message.
Resending Emails To An Individual Recipient
You can resend an email to a single recipient when only one delivery failed.
Expand the email row to display individual recipients.
Locate the recipient, then click Resend on that recipient line.
This allows you to resend the email without sending it again to other recipients.
Resending Emails To A Corrected Address
You can resend an email after correcting the recipient email address.
Click Resend on the relevant email row. Update the email address in the resend dialog, then confirm the send.
- Use this option when a hard bounce indicates the address on file is invalid.
- Updating the address in the resend dialog does not update the client contact record in your practice management system.
Update the contact record separately to prevent future delivery failures.
Understanding Resend Subject Line Tagging
Your firm can configure a subject line tag for resent emails.
This tag appears as a prefix or suffix in the email subject line.
For example:
- [Resent] Your November Statement
Contact Support if you need to change the resend subject line tag.
Understanding Data Refresh After Resending
You can monitor resend activity after the Email Delivery Hub refreshes.
The hub does not update in real time.
- Allow up to 10 minutes for the email table to refresh after resending.
Use the Data last updated indicator to confirm the most recent refresh time.
- This is found in the top right corner.
- Hover over the indicator to view the next scheduled refresh.
Understanding Email Delivery Hub Permissions
You can control access to the Email Delivery Hub using two permissions.
- View - Allows users to open the hub, browse the email log, and review delivery statuses and metrics.
- Resend - Allows users to resend emails and edit recipient addresses before sending again.
Firms typically assign Resend access to billing and accounts receivable staff.
Your firm administrator manages user permissions.
Contact your administrator if you need access changes.
