The Email Delivery Hub tracks outbound client emails and shows delivery and engagement activity. You can review email volume, delivery results, and recipient interactions.
Email Types Covered
You can see outbound activity for several email types sent from Aiwyn.
The hub tracks the following categories:
- Invoice emails
- Smart statement emails
- Payment confirmation emails
- Payment failure emails
Understanding Summary Metric Cards
You can quickly review email performance metrics for the selected date range.
A row of summary cards appears at the top of the hub. Each card compares the current period with the previous period.
The cards include the following metrics:
- Sent: Total emails sent during the selected period.
- Delivered: Emails successfully delivered to the recipient’s email server.
- Bounced / Failed: Emails that did not reach the recipient.
- Opened: Emails the recipient opened.
- Clicked: Emails where the recipient clicked a link.
- Without recipients: Emails sent without a recipient email address on file.
- Without attachments: Emails sent without an expected attachment.
Understanding Email Statuses
You can review the status of each email to understand what happened after it was sent.
Each email row displays the most recent delivery or engagement event.
Common statuses include:
- Sending: The email is processing and on its way to the recipient. Engagement data is not yet available.
- Delivered: The email reached the recipient’s email server. This confirms delivery to the server, not that the message was read.
- Opened: The recipient opened the email. Open tracking depends on the recipient’s email client.
- Clicked: The recipient clicked a link in the email. A clicked email was successfully delivered.
- Bounced: The email failed to reach the recipient.
Bounce events can include:
- Soft bounce: A temporary issue, such as a full mailbox or a temporary server problem.
- Hard bounce: A permanent failure, such as an invalid email address or non-existent domain.
Update the contact email address before resending emails that produced a hard bounce.
- Mixed: The email was sent to multiple recipients with different outcomes.
Expand the email row to see the status for each recipient.
Identifying Special Flags
You can identify data issues using special flags shown in the hub.
Two flags appear when email records contain missing information:
- Without recipients: The email was sent without a recipient email address on file.
- Update the client contact record so future emails route correctly.
- Without attachments: The email was sent without an expected attachment, such as an invoice PDF.
If this appears occasionally, confirm whether the attachment generated correctly.
