Find an email Aiwyn sent to a client, then resend it to everyone, one recipient or a corrected address.
Before you start
- You need the Resend permission in the Email Management permission group.
- There is no bulk resend; resend emails one at a time.
- The hub is not real time. Allow up to 15 minutes for a new status to appear.
Find the email
- In the Firm Portal, select Clients (if on Aiwyn Practice select Clients & Contacts).
- Open the Email Delivery Hub.
- Set the date range to cover the original send.
- Narrow the table by email type or delivery status when needed.
- Search by:
- Client name
- Client number
- Email recipient
- Subject line
- Partner name
- Manager name
- Client group name
- Select the row. If the email had multiple recipients, expand it to see each recipient's outcome.
Resend the email
- Select Resend on the email row.
- Preview the email.
- Make any permitted changes:
- Edit the subject line.
- Add a note to the body.
- Change recipients, unless the email type locks them.
- Send a test to yourself.
- Confirm the resend.
Aiwyn resends to all recipients shown in the resend dialog.
Resend to one recipient
- Expand the email row.
- Select Resend on the recipient's line.
- Preview and confirm the resend.
Only that recipient receives the new copy.
Send to a corrected address
- Open Resend for the email or recipient.
- Replace the recipient address in the resend dialog.
- Preview and confirm the send.
A recipient change in the resend dialog applies to that resend only. It does not update the contact record. Correct the address in the system that owns it so later invoices, statements and receipts do not fail again.
Subject line tag
If you keep the original subject, Aiwyn adds the configured resend tag. The default is a [RESENT] prefix. If you edit the subject, Aiwyn sends your subject exactly as entered and does not add the tag.
Confirm the result
Allow up to 15 minutes for the hub to refresh, then check the row again. Delivered means the recipient's mail server accepted the email; it does not prove that the recipient opened it.
