Aiwyn requires the client ID to appear on the invoices you send to clients. This page explains what depends on it.
The client ID is how a client finds themselves
A client who chooses to go to your website and access the client portal directly (as opposed to going through a 1-Click Invoice or Statement email) will need to enter their client ID any any invoice number associated to that client ID.
It is also how one person reaches several entities
Many clients are more than one entity in your practice management system - a business, a trust, two individuals. Each is a separate client record with its own client ID. A single portal user can hold several of these, and the client ID is what lets them add the ones they should see.
Once a client is signed in to the client portal they can select to add additional accounts.
Your system may call it something else
The field Aiwyn reads as client ID may be labelled Account Number or Client Number in your practice management system. The mapping is prescribed per system; you do not choose it, however you can choose what label is show to clients.
