Stripe
After you have connected your bank account(s) to Stripe during implementation, you will no longer have direct interface or interaction with Stripe beyond receiving deposits or correcting bank account connection. Rather, Aiwyn interacts with Stripe on your firm's behalf. You will not have a Stripe login.
Think of Aiwyn as an umbrella and your bank account(s) fall under our main account with Stripe. This allows US payments made through Aiwyn to be deposited to your bank in two (2) business days.
In your bank account connected to Stripe, you will see one deposit from Stripe potentially every weekday.
In the event a payment ultimately fails or is blocked or disputed, Stripe will remove that reversed amount from that day's payout. Appropriate reporting and communication is provided by Aiwyn Support to your firm's dispute contact(s) if this occurs.
Payout timeline & process (Stripe US connection)
Stripe batches together all payments into a single deposit, only on weekdays. The time of day a payment is made and the payment method used will affect when that payment will be included in your payout from Stripe.
Payments made with ACH before 19:00 UTC deposit to your bank in two (2) business days. ACH payments made after 19:00 UTC are batched with the following business day's transactions.
Payments made with Card before 23:59 UTC deposit to your bank in two (2) business days. Card payments made after 23:59 UTC are batched with the following business day's transactions.
Use the scenarios below to understand the payout timing based on payment method and day and time of transaction.
ACH payments - two day payout
| Payment day | Payment before 19:00 UTC ⇒ Deposit on | Payment after 19:00 UTC ⇒ Deposit on |

| Friday | Tuesday | Wednesday |
| Saturday | Wednesday | Wednesday |
| Sunday | Wednesday | Wednesday |
** holidays and weekends interrupt the business day cycle. For example, if there is a weekend and a one day holiday, expect a respective delay in payout.
US Bank holidays
Bank holidays can delay the payout by one or more days.
For example, if you're expecting a payout to be deposited on Thursday but Thursday is Thanksgiving Day, a U.S. bank holiday, your payout will instead be deposited on the next business day—typically the following Friday, unless that day is also a bank-observed holiday.
Payments made on a bank holiday are similarly delayed for payout inclusion by one or more days.
The following are the dates of the 2026 bank holidays in the United States.
| Date | Day | Holiday |
|---|---|---|
| January 1 | Thursday | New Year's Day |
| January 19 | Monday | Martin Luther King Jr. Day |
| February 16 | Monday | Presidents' Day |
| May 25 | Monday | Memorial Day |
| June 19 | Friday | Juneteenth National Independence Day |
| July 3 | Friday (observed) | Independence Day |
| September 7 | Monday | Labor Day |
| October 12 | Monday | Columbus Day |
| November 11 | Wednesday | Veterans Day |
| November 26 | Thursday | Thanksgiving Day |
| December 25 | Friday | Christmas Day |
Payout timeline & process (Stripe Canada connection)
Stripe batches together all payments into a single deposit, only on weekdays. The time of day a payment is made and the payment method used will affect when that payment will be included in your payout from Stripe.
As a rule, the cutoff time for Pre-Authorized Debit ("PAD" which is the term used for a Bank Transfer payment made by a Canadian Bank) payments is 19:00 UTC, which means payments made that day after 19:00 UTC are batched with the following business day's transactions.
On average, PAD payments made through the portal are deposited six (6) business days after the time of the transaction.
Card payments made through portal are deposited two (2) business days after the time of the transaction.

Setup bank account with Stripe
To connect your firm's bank account(s) with Stripe in order to receive payouts for payments made through Aiwyn, an authorized representative of the bank account(s) is provided a specific stripe setup link for your firm.
This link is provided by Implementation if your firm is in implementation. If your firm is already live and a new bank account connection is provided, a unique stripe setup link is provided by Support.
Stripe will prompt the representative to provide following information:
Firm Information
- Legal Business Name (as listed on tax return)
- EIN (Employer Identification Number)
- Business Address
- Business Phone Number
- Business Website (please read Stripe's policies on website requirements for firms)
Responsible Person Information (there has to be someone at the firm with access to the bank account that will serve as the responsible representative on the account)
- Date of birth
- Home Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Last 4 digits of SSN
- Title
Bank Account Information
- Routing Number
- Account Number
Please Note: It is very important to ensure that the accounts set up for client payouts/refunds are able:
- To be debited
- Do not have an ACH block in place
- Do not have a limit on withdrawal amounts in place that can be reasonably met
This will prevent any delays in transfer of funds, avoidance of contractual late fees, or any other interruptions to your processes.
Below are the payee ids used by Aiwyn and Stripe that should be whitelisted for your account:
- 1800948598 - Stripe Payments Company
- 4270465600 - Stripe Payments Company
Payout reversals
- Typically reversals (client payments failing or being reversed) process in two business days. There are 3 types of reversals
- Refunds - someone at the firm refunds the client through the Firm Portal
- Disputes - a client or their bank blocked the payment from going through
- Card Disputes - client disputed card transaction
- ACH Dispute - client's bank does not allow debits
- Failed ACH (NSF) - bank details incorrect or funds not available. Because ACH takes 4 days to clear, the firm can easily have this payment in cash before the payment gets reversed. In this case, Stripe will attempt to debit the amount back from a future payout of the firm.
