Communication to Clients
If you have never passed credit card fees along to your clients, or you are increasing the amount you are passing, then this should be clearly communicated to clients before making this change in Aiwyn. This can be done through:
- Client Email
- Update your bill payment landing page
Example Client Email:
Hello Valued Client,
On [DATE], credit card payments made through our Online Payment Portal [EMBED CLIENT PORTAL URL] will incur a [x%] processing fee. To avoid processing fees, you may pay by ACH Bank Transfer.
Update your bill payment landing page
A [x%] processing fee is included for payments made with a credit card.

- Can exclude credit card fees based on state of billing zip code
- Can allow firm admins to reduce or eliminate credit card fees for payments they make on client's behalf
- Can exclude international credit cards
- Can disable debit cards as an accepted payment method
