Summary
Collection reminders, also known as Smart Statements will send automatically or manually, depending on your current Collection Settings in the firm portal.
When in a manual review process, no statements will send unless you select to “Approve and Send” on each Client’s staged statement. Statements stage and are ready for review at 11:30am Eastern Monday through Friday. As Clients have Invoice(s) that meet any of your triggers, new statements will stage, or existing statements already staged and not yet sent or skipped will update.

How Statements Staged for Review Go Away
Once a statement is staged for review, it does not go away unless one of the following occurs:
- Client has paid all invoices that were included in the statement
- Client has been added to the excluded client list or statements were paused for this client
- A firm admin has chosen to skip the statement
- A firm admin has chosen to approve and send the statement
- A firm admin has contacted Aiwyn Support to request all staged statements get wiped from the system
Wiping Staged Statements
It may be helpful for firms who are using Collections for the first time to choose this final option of wiping staged statements if they would like to clear the queue and prepare for automating the statements. Keep in mind, once a statement is staged, it will not simply go away when you choose to enable automatic smart statements.
Aiwyn support is happy to assist firms in wiping their staged statements, however this request must be escalated to a higher support level for completion.
Note: We request a two (2) business day turnaround in order to fulfil this request and wipe the statements as this request must be fulfilled by a Senior Support or Implementation staff member. Please contact support@aiwyn.ai no sooner than two (2) days before you would like the staged statements wiped.
