The previous chapters of this guide have focused on the workflows your firm and your clients experience when sending and responding to client requests. This chapter instead focuses on the data requirements needed to make these workflows possible. Specifically, the following data requirements are all data elements coming from your firm's practice management system integrated with Aiwyn.

Client data
In order to send a Client Request through Aiwyn, a client entity record must exist in the firm's practice management system. The client entity record in the practice management system must be populated with the following required fields:
- Client name
- Client ID
- Partner
- Manager
Contact data
In order to send a Client Request through Aiwyn, a contact record associated with the client entity record must exist, either created and linked in the practice management system to the client, or created and linked to the client within Aiwyn.
From either source, the contact record must be populated with the following required fields:
- Contact name
- Contact email
Project data
In order to send a Client Request through Aiwyn, the project (also known as "Job" or "Engagement", depending on the practice management system) must be created for the client entity within your practice management system.
The project for the client in the practice management system must be populated with the following required fields:
- Project name
- Project ID
- Project is linked to the client
- Project status is open, as in ready to be started for the client
