Credit card
Each credit card transaction comes with an additional processing fee. The processing fee rate charged to your firm is located in your contract with Aiwyn. You have the option to pass this processing fee to the client at the time of their payment.

Debit card
Each debit card transaction comes with an additional processing fee. The processing fee rate charged to your firm is located in your contract with Aiwyn and is the same rate as that of credit cards.
Unlike credit card fees, you are not able to pass this processing fee to the client at the time of their payment. Therefore the fee amount is swept and kept from the total payment amount and your firm is given the remaining payment amount.
For example: Total payment amount is $100 and your card fee rate is 3%. The client will pay $100 and your firm will receive $97 from that payment, and Aiwyn will keep $3 to cover the cost of processing.
You have the option to disable debit cards as an accepted payment method. If debit cards are disabled, when a client tries to pay with a debit card, the payment cannot be processed and they are directed to use a different payment method.
Google Pay
Client payers have the option to pay with their Google Pay account, which is linked to their credit and/or debit cards. They simply select the Google Pay widget, choose the card on file, and proceed with agreeing to the terms of service and selecting "pay" button.
Credit card fees still apply.
Payments made with Google Pay appear on your firm's payment report files as either credit or debit cards, depending on the payer's card choice used to complete the transaction.
If debit cards are disabled at your firm, then a Google Pay selection of a debit card would prevent the payer from proceeding with the payment and a notice to change the payment method would appear.
Important note: The Google Pay card option will only appear if your device and browser has Google Pay set up and enabled. Otherwise, it will not appear.

Apple Pay
Client payers have the option to pay with their Apple Pay account, which is linked to their credit and/or debit cards. They simply select the Apple Pay widget, choose the card on file, and proceed with agreeing to the terms of service and selecting "pay" button.
Credit card fees still apply.
Payments made with Apple Pay appear on your firm's payment report files as either credit or debit cards, depending on the payer's card choice used to complete the transaction.
If debit cards are disabled at your firm, then an Apple Pay selection of a debit card would prevent the payer from proceeding with the payment and a notice to change the payment method would appear.
Important note: The Apple Pay card option will only appear if your device and browser has Apple Pay set up and enabled. Otherwise, it will not appear.

ACH Bank Transfer
For US bank accounts, this payment method option has no fees that are passed to the client. The processing fee for this type of transaction is located in your contract with Aiwyn. The ACH processing fee is swept and kept from the total payment amount and your firm is given the remaining payment amount.
Payments made with ACH bank transfer appear on your firm's payment report files as "ACH".
Canadian PADs
For Canadian bank accounts, this payment method option is a bank transfer similar to the US's ACH. The PAD processing fee is swept and kept from the total payment amount and your firm is given the remaining payment amount.
Additional setup by Aiwyn is required. Please contact support@aiwyn.ai if you are interested in enabling Canadian Pre-Authorized Debits (PADs).
British Bacs
For UK based bank accounts, this payment method option is a bank transfer similar to the US's ACH. The Bacs processing fee is swept and kept from the total payment amount and your firm is given the remaining payment amount.
Additional setup by Aiwyn is required. Please contact support@aiwyn.ai if you are interested in enabling British Bacs.
International credit card
For any credit card not based in the United States, an additional 1% fee is added to the payment, and this is in addition to the base credit card fee rate charged. No additional setup is required, though you are provided with an opportunity to enable or disable international credit cards during implementation. If this needs adjustment, or you have any questions, please contact support@aiwyn.ai for more information and support.
