This article explains how Stripe Link appears for your clients in Aiwyn, how it impacts the payment experience, and what control you have over its availability.
Understanding What Stripe Link Is
Stripe Link is a secure wallet experience built and managed by Stripe that allows payers to save and reuse payment methods, including cards and U.S. bank accounts, across supported Stripe checkouts. Aiwyn does not store, access, or manage any Link wallet data.
Knowing Where Clients Will See Stripe Link
Stripe Link appears within the Card payment option in the following places:
Client Portal invoice/non-invoice checkout.
Quick Payment Links that use card checkout.
Engagement-based payment flows that use card checkout.
Stripe Link does not replace ACH or other payment methods and does not appear as a standalone payment option.
Completing A Payment With Stripe Link
Your client can pay an invoice or non-invoice payment efficiently using Stripe Link in the payment portal.
In the Invoices tab, the client will select their invoice or non-invoice payment in the payment portal.
On the far right side, select Card as their payment method.
Click on Secure, Fast Checkout With Link to open the payment method option.
Enter their email address and phone number.
If this is their first time using Stripe Link, enter their payment method and billing contact details.
If they already have a Stripe Link account, enter the one-time verification code sent to their mobile device and then select a saved payment method.
Select Continue.
On the far right side, click Pay to complete the payment.
