Summary
Data from your practice management system flows into the Aiwyn system in a “read-only” capacity, displaying to users accurate information based on what is available in the practice management system.
Through a near real-time connection, all client, contact, and staff data, billed and unbilled WIP and Progress (if using Billing), and the job (aka "Projects", "Engagements", "Events"), invoice, and payment data located and maintained in your practice management system enables users of the Aiwyn Client and Firm portals to view and interact with this data in defined, meaningful, and oftentimes automated ways.
Practice management systems integrated with Aiwyn are given a standard system mapping, taking the fields from your system and deciding which fields go where for a given item seen in or used by Aiwyn.
But not all firms use their practice management system in the same way. This variation in data management and desired outcome in Aiwyn means that you have some choices to make, likely some changes to make in processes or the existing data, and definitely opportunity to improve performance and growth driven by Aiwyn's tools and features.
