Summary
Beginning October 2026, Microsoft Exchange will begin enforcing an external recipient rate limit of 2,000 recipients in 24 hours. This means your firm will be limited to sending 2,000 Aiwyn Invoice Emails within a single 24 hour period firm wide. An Exchange Admin Center mail flow report detailing the External Recipient count of cloud-hosted mailboxes belonging to the tenant will be available at this time.
Automated Threshold Reporting
Aiwyn Support has created an automated email alert monitoring your firm's Daily Invoice Email volume, and if we see your firm's daily Invoice Email transactions approach the 2,000 threshold, we will contact you directly letting you know.
Exceeding The Daily Threshold
If you believe your firm will exceed the 2,000 external recipients per day limit, there are alternative email service providers available. However do note, any alternative email routing services may require adjustment to your Aiwyn configuration options.
