This article applies to firms using the Remitian integration with Aiwyn.
Jump from the firm portal into Remitian's firm console without a separate Remitian username and password, to create, approve, or investigate a tax payment.
Before you start
- Your role needs the Access Remitian permission. Without it the button is disabled.
- Allow pop-ups from Aiwyn in your browser; Remitian opens in a new tab.
Steps
- In the firm portal, open Payments → Tax Payments, or open a client's Tax Payments tab.
- Click Go to Remitian.
- Remitian opens in a new tab on its Clients page. Complete the SMS two-factor verification each time you use Go to Remitian; after you verify, Remitian signs you in as your firm user.
- The first time you do this, Aiwyn sets you up as a firm user in Remitian using your Aiwyn name and email address.
- From the full Clients list, open the client you need. Go to Remitian does not open a specific client directly. Each client has Tax Payments, Tax Files, Bank Accounts, Tax Accounts, and Payment History tabs.
- Make your change in Remitian. It appears in Aiwyn within about 15 minutes.
If Go to Remitian does not sign you in
- If Remitian asks for a verification code and none arrives, wait a minute and try Go to Remitian again.
- If it still fails and you have set a Remitian password, sign in to Remitian directly with your Remitian email address and password, then contact Aiwyn Support.
