When an engagement executes, Aiwyn appends a certificate of completion as the final page of the letter PDF. It is the audit record of the signing.
Document fields
- Unique document ID (generated by Aiwyn)
- Status
- Document name
- Date of execution
- Number of pages
- Firm sender
- Number of signatures and initials
Signer events
Recorded for each signer:
- Name of the signer
- IP address
- Date and time the letter was sent to them
- Date and time they viewed it
- Date and time they signed it
Where it appears
The certificate is part of the PDF, so it travels with every copy: the client's emailed copy, the firm's emailed copy, and the versions stored in the client portal and the firm portal.
