Did you have a payment deposited and then removed from your cash deposits? If so, this may be why:
When a credit or debit card fails, the client is immediately made aware by a pop-up message that alerts them as soon as they try to process their payment in the payment portal.
ACH payments process differently than card payments which affects this failure response. ACH payments immediately start to process as soon as the payment is made but this process takes 1 business day to complete.
Due to the length of time it takes for ACH payments to actually process, Aiwyn temporarily covers the funds of the payments being sent to you from the client while this process settles. This way, you and your team don't have to endure the usual delay accompanied by ACH payments.
That being said, a very small amount of ACH payments fail and can cause those funds to be reversed from your Stripe account a day or two later after being deposited initially.
If this occurs, it the reversed payment will appear as a negative value on your payment report file. At the time of failure, an email is sent both to you and the client that the payment has failed. The invoice(s) paid with the now failed payment automatically flips back to payable again in the client portal.
If you would like more information about a particular failed payment, you may contact support@aiwyn.ai
