You can configure a mail rule that allows Aiwyn to intercept outgoing invoice emails and send them to your clients with a one-click payment wrapper.
Confirming Whether A Mail Rule Is Required
The mail rule is not required for firms using CCH Axcess.
Understanding When To Set Up The Mail Rule
You can enable testing of the invoice email capture flow between your firm and Aiwyn.
The mail rule is used during Testing Session One to validate that Aiwyn can intercept qualifying invoice emails.
Set up this rule with guidance from Aiwyn’s Implementation team.
The criteria used during testing are temporary and must be updated before go-live.
Creating The Mail Rule
Step 1: In Office Exchange Admin tools, first create a Mail Contact for your Aiwyn Inbound Email address, which is specific to your firm and provided to you during implementation.
- First Name: Aiwyn
- Last Name: Redirect
- Email: examplefirm@inbound.aiwyn.ai (EXACT AIWYN INBOUND EMAIL PROVIDED TO YOU DURING IMPLEMENTATION)
Step 2: Navigate to the Mail Flow rules and create a new rule with the following criteria
Apply this rule if:
- Subject line matches these text patterns > "Invoice_Aiwyn" (EXACT SUBJECT ENTRY PROVIDED DURING TESTING SESSION 1)
Redirect messages to:
Choose the Aiwyn Redirect mail contact
Except if:
- Subject line includes these text patterns "RE:", "FWD: ", and “FW:”
Additionally...
- Stop Processing More Rules

- Ensure no other email management systems (like Mimecast) will interrupt this rule
